TELAGA WARNA

            The king of famous kingdom in Cipanas, West Java, was very wise man. He had a beautiful dougther. The king and queen loved their dougther so much. But all their love was not enough for the princess. Even though they gave her every thing, she was not happy. All the jewelries that they had were not enough for her. She was not satisfied with her gorgeous look either.

The princess then had an idea. She planned to put all the jewelryies that they had in every single hair in her head. She wanted to be the most beautiful girl in the world. So the princess went to see her mother and father and told them about her plan. She very sure they would not say no.

The king was surprised to hear about his dougther’s plan. He tried to convince her that her plan was not proper.”My dougther, the beauty of a princess is not measured by her clothes or by the jewelry she is wearing, but by her attitude. It’s not that we don’t love you, but what will people think if you go through with your plan?” say the king. The princess was shocked to hear that. So she runs to her room to get her jewelry box. Then she returned to her parents. She screamed,”You are so miserly. Here, I returning the every single jewelry you ever gave me.” She threw her jewelry box to her father. The wise king was outraged seeing his dougther did. “You are ungrateful dougther”
Suddenly, the floor of the palace erupted and water poured out from the crack. In a matter of second the palace flooded, drowning the ungrateful princess and her jewelry. The palace then replaced by a lake. The lake always reflected multiple colors to its surrounding. Some said the colors came from the princess’s jewelry. The lake is known as Telaga Warna that means colorful lake.

Raja kerajaan terkenal di Cipanas, Jawa Barat, adalah orang yang sangat bijaksana. Dia memiliki dougther indah. Raja dan ratu dicintai dougther mereka begitu banyak. Tapi semua cinta mereka tidak cukup bagi sang putri. Meskipun mereka memberinya setiap hal, dia tidak bahagia. Semua perhiasan yang mereka miliki tidak cukup untuknya. Dia tidak puas dengan tampilan cantik nya baik.
Sang putri kemudian punya ide. Dia merencanakan untuk meletakkan semua jewelryies bahwa mereka ada dalam setiap helai rambut di kepalanya. Dia ingin menjadi gadis paling cantik di dunia. Jadi sang putri pergi menemui ibunya dan ayahnya dan memberitahu mereka tentang rencananya. Dia sangat yakin mereka tidak akan mengatakan tidak.

Raja terkejut mendengar tentang rencana dougther nya. Dia mencoba untuk meyakinkan dia bahwa rencananya tidak benar "dougther saya, keindahan putri tidak diukur oleh pakaian atau perhiasan yang ia kenakan., Tetapi oleh sikapnya. Danau ini dikenal sebagai Telaga Warna yang berarti danau berwarna-warni.
